Sr Contracts Manager

As a Sr Contracts Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate our standard and nonstandard contracts. You'll be responsible for examining estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will need to proactively work change management. You'll advise management of contractual rights and obligations and ensure our contracting activities provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment. Responsibilities Manage a highly complex contract Work well in a team environment Apply knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) Contract Modification Review Contract change management Overseeing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Proposal submittal Drafting contract letters Contract status reporting Manage Cost Plus, Fixed Fee, Time & Materials (T&M), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) Qualifications You Must Have: Typically, 10+ years of progressive contracts experience, which includes 4-6+ years of management experience Bachelor's degree in a related field of study Experience with DoD contracting Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) Ability to obtain & maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance Previous legal experience Experience With Costpoint Understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) At Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) we deliver customer-focused technology and best-of-breed integrations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
