We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact in our outpatient behavioral health clinic in Mandeville, LA. An ideal candidate will create and maintain a welcoming environment for clients and visitors and provide administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly. Experience substitution: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. Job Duties and Other Information: Answering multi-line telephones and routing phone calls to the appropriate staff or taking detailed messages Greeting clients Notifying staff of client arrivals Conducting check-in and check-out procedures for clients Verifying insurance coverage Contacting clients with appointment reminders Processing faxes received Entering information into an electronic health record (EHR) Maintain a supply of the necessary packets for both clients with scheduled appointments and walk-ins. Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational Appointment or Job Appointment Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.
