HDR is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support our Industrial sector clients in Michigan. This leadership role involves establishing and strengthening client relationships, winning and executing projects, and growing a Michigan-based team of engineers and designers. Responsibilities include participating in local industry organizations, developing proposals, leading project teams, and maintaining communication with HDR leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Michigan industrial clients in manufacturing, oil and gas, chemical, or food & beverage markets, and will possess strong client management and project execution skills. Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, lead, and manage all project aspects. Ensure contractual scope, schedule, and budget commitments are met. Deliver high-quality services and outputs. Develop and maintain client relationships; participate in marketing and proposal development. Engage with regulatory authorities during project reviews. Coordinate with staff supervisors and management for staffing and workload planning. Collaborate with internal teams for project updates and resource allocation. Represent HDR in industry organizations and conferences. Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification. Significant experience in engineering services for oil and gas, manufacturing, chemical, or food & beverage markets. Familiarity with Google Earth, ESRI ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Microstation. Minimum of 5 years industrial project management experience. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field. 10+ years of related experience. At least 5 years of project management experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating, scheduling, and project management software. Strong organizational, communication, and team interaction skills.
