Responsibilities: Lead and manage water and wastewater projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline expectations. Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to establish project goals, requirements, and technical details. Perform detailed engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and complex designs for water and wastewater systems. Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and other project documents to ensure top-notch quality. Oversee the permitting process and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct site visits and assessments to collect crucial data and offer technical support during construction. Oversee construction activities, maintain thorough project documentation, and address any design changes or issues that arise. Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project results. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Professional Engineer (PE) license in GA, or eligibility to obtain it within 6 months. A minimum of 5 years of successful experience managing water and wastewater engineering projects. Strong understanding of water treatment, distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain complex technical concepts. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excel in multitasking. Joining a well-established team within the South-East, in particular the GA market. (Nationwide) Top 10 Best Places to Work for medium-sized engineering firms. Flexibility to go down a technical route or a more client-focused BD path. Stable backlog of projects.
