Job title: Data Architect
Job location: Kansas City, MO
Work schedule: 100% REMOTE, from anywhere in the US except CA
Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Compensation: $150k-$160k/yr + 15% Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits + 401k
About the role: The Principal Solutions Engineer will be responsible for solutioning, architecting, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure & Databricks platform. This role involves working with various data services and tools to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and analysis. They will work with various Business and Data/Analytics/Digital team stakeholders to understand the business goals and product needs.

Responsibilities
- Seasoned Data Architect with Azure Cloud Platform Experience
- Led and implemented at least 2-3 end-to-end Cloud data applications initiations, performed solutioning, created Cloud infrastructure, and partook in data enablement and analytics consumption
- Experience with big data tools like Databricks AND Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Delta Lake
- Exposure to AI tools, like CoPilot, Cursor, Devon
Qualifications
- Must have: Seasoned Data Architect with Azure Cloud Platform Experience
- Experience: Led and implemented 2-3 end-to-end Cloud data applications initiations, solutioning, cloud infrastructure creation, and data enablement/analytics consumption
- Tools: Databricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Delta Lake
- AI exposure: AI tools such as CoPilot, Cursor, Devon
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Databricks or Azure Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Engineer)
- Experience in the financial services or Insurance industry
