Real Estate Counsel - Chambers-Ranked Practice

Overview

Our client, a global Am Law 100 firm, has an active need for a real estate lawyer (8+ yrs of experience) to join its premier Real Estate Investment and Finance practice in Chicago as a Counsel.

Responsibilities

• Represent commercial real estate lenders and equity clients in sophisticated transactions, including financing, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, and lending
• Represent large financial institutions on all aspects of the purchase, sale, leasing, operation and property management of corporate real estate portfolios
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, net leasing agreements, and ground leasing agreements

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of real estate transactional experience
• Significant experience with equity side real estate deals, including assisting clients in buying and selling properties and drafting/negotiating related agreements
• Experience with joint ventures is a plus
• Strong academic credentials and writing skills

Location

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $500,000.
