Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Job Details
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead preconstruction efforts for multifamily, residential, and mixed-use projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee all preconstruction aspects, including estimating, planning, and design, and will collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet budgetary and feasibility constraints.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all preconstruction processes, including development of strategies, budgets, and schedules.
- Lead the estimating team in preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for multifamily, residential, and mixed-use projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs align with budgetary and construction feasibility constraints.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication throughout the preconstruction process.
- Implement innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance preconstruction processes and efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to preconstruction team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in the negotiation and awarding of contracts, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in preconstruction to keep the company at the forefront.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior preconstruction or estimating role, preferably in construction.
- Proven track record of overseeing preconstruction for multifamily, residential, and mixed-use projects.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in estimating and project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to travel as needed for projects.
