Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sells parts to all customers, over the counter, via email, through the shop or on the phone. Specifically the parts counterperson: Assist all customers both retail and shop in selecting required parts. Share the cost and availability of the parts. Inform customer of companion part requirements and specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Participates in the coordination of orders being pulled and filled from the warehouse to their customer. Provides information to Parts Manager and Buyer on out-of-stock products.
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source. Follows up on back-ordered parts.
Solicits assigned accounts by phone or email. Log lost sales to track demand. Participates in all training programs made available in order to keep current on new products and product updates. Maintains professional appearance.
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent required with basic knowledge of truck/auto components.
Excellent communication skills and must speak English. High school business math. Knowledge of and ability to work on a computer. General mechanical aptitude. Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, crouch, reach and lift. Operate a Fyda vehicle in safe and responsible manner and in compliance with Fyda policies.
