This position includes a flexible schedule with a guarantee of 40 hours per week, requiring occasional evening shifts and weekend availability. Please note that this opening is specifically for scrub nurses; straight circulate RNs or scrub techs will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in various surgical procedures, specifically focusing on scrub duties.Maintain a sterile environment and follow protocols for surgical procedures.Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.Communicate effectively with the surgical team and provide patient updates as needed.Document all necessary information regarding the procedures and patient care.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required.Experience in multiple surgical specialties is mandatory.Epic experience is required.Current New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be included with the application.Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt quickly to stressful situations.Travelers must have their own vehicle and provide a permanent address upon application.Schedules and Time OffShifts are 8 hours in duration, with flexibility required for evenings. Note that all requested time off (RTO) must be included in the profile upon application. Only five days or less of RTO will be accepted. Additionally, travelers are required to work two holidays from the specified list.Required CertificationsBLS (AHA)Other InformationThis position will include non-billable orientation, with no scheduling accommodations considered. Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
