Description:
CVOR Surgical Tech position available.
The facility features 13 operating rooms plus one procedure/cysto room.
On average, 45 cases are performed daily.
Patient types and common diagnoses include:
- Cardiothoracic procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, mini mitral, and septal myomectomy.
- Vascular procedures including fistula creations, transcarotid revascularization, carotid and femoral enterectomy, bypasses, iliac artery thrombectomy, brachial pseudoaneurysm repair, carotid baroreceptor implantation, and hybrid cases.
Support within the department includes OR Assistants to assist during weekdays.
Responsibilities include supporting room turnovers, stocking the department, and patient positioning.
Anesthesia support is available 24/7.
Technology and equipment used include an electronic medical record system and various medical devices.
No floating is required for this position.
Scrub color will be provided.
