We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technician for a 13-week rotating shift position. The ideal candidate will possess experience in medical sonography, particularly in vascular and obstetric applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
n
• Evaluate images for technical quality and provide assistance to the interpreting physician.
n
• Maintain proficiency with major medical sonography equipment and software.
n
• Comply with on-call requirements and department-specific training.
n
• Demonstrate professional maturity and integrity in all interactions.
n
• Manage multiple projects and duties while working efficiently under deadline pressures.
n
• Exercise good judgment in decision-making and independently take initiative when needed.

Qualifications

n

n
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
n
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience required.
n
• Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography is a must.
n
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
n
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
n
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible.
n
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
n
• Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal laws.
n
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
n
• Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned.
n
• Ability to work under stress and in a dynamic environment.
n
