Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Job Summary As a member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Tech II collaborates with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves: Assisting in surgical procedures across multiple specialties. Demonstrating advanced collaboration with peers to support surgical patient care decisions. Performing assigned duties to ensure patient care goals and hospital mission are met. Required Education High School Diploma/GED and one of the following: Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program. Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist. Completion of a Froedtert Health-sponsored Apprentice II Program. 10 years of experience as a Surgical Tech. Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a Surgical Technologist. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or AHA-approved equivalent.
