This is a full-time traveling position supporting sports projects across the United States, reporting to the Sports Market Segment Group. Prior sports project experience is preferred.
Position Description Leads, directs, and coordinates work related to Mechanical and Electrical systems, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence. Supervises Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade labor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage work performance, scheduling, logistics, quality control, and staffing.
Coordinate among trades, resolve local issues, and promote project efficiency.
Oversee site safety and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Supervise and develop team members, including performance appraisals.
Create work schedules, develop recovery strategies, and communicate with stakeholders.
Manage billing, invoices, and project documentation.
Ensure installation compliance with contract documents.
Coordinate with engineers on system layouts and approvals.
Lead inspections, startup, commissioning, and handover processes.
Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure code compliance.
Review project changes and document work progress.
Participate in preconstruction planning and logistics.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or four years of engineering/architectural experience, plus six years of relevant construction experience, or equivalent. Knowledge of building systems, BIM, and project management tools. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Physical & Work Environment Requires physical ability to navigate construction sites, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds. Work is performed on-site with exposure to typical construction hazards, loud noise, and outdoor conditions.
