Hot Plant Superintendent - Traveling
Position Overview Plan and oversee activities related to hot plant operations and maintenance, including development, organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Extensive knowledge of aggregate, oils, and admixture products, along with testing standards, is required. Wage Range:
Salaried, $100,000 to $130,000 per year DOE. Key Responsibilities
Operate asphalt mixing and recycling equipment to produce and reuse asphalt materials. Monitor asphalt temperature and viscosity to ensure compliance. Supervise crews, ensuring safety and adherence to policies, and conduct training and performance appraisals. Operate equipment for spreading, compacting, and installing asphalt. Assist in installing asphalt plants and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Must meet the following: High School diploma or GED. At least 1 year of related experience or training; 3 years preferred. Work Requirements

Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of aggregate sizes, trenching standards, and basic computer skills. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and follow instructions. Strong teamwork, judgment, planning, professionalism, safety awareness, adaptability, punctuality, dependability, initiative, and quality focus. Physical & Environmental Requirements
