Position: Project Manager

Location: Washington, D.C.

An employee-owned construction firm is seeking a Project Manager to join their Washington, D.C. office. As an ESOP company, employees are directly involved in the companys growth and success, benefiting from its financial achievements. The firm specializes in deep foundation systems and ground improvement techniques, including Auger Pressure Grouted Piling, Displacement Piling, Driven Piling, Pressure Grouting, Sheeting and Shoring, Ground Improvement, and Micro Piling. They are known for their work on high-profile infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects, consistently maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination: Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of geotechnical and foundation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Technical Oversight: Ensure all projects comply with industry codes, specifications, and company standards, applying technical expertise to maintain high-quality engineering practices.
• Quality Control & Safety: Lead quality control efforts, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and safety protocols across all project activities.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication with crew members, third-party inspectors, and contractors. Address quality control concerns during client and contractor meetings.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve technical challenges efficiently and innovate to meet project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in geotechnical construction, particularly with deep foundations and ground improvement techniques.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, engineering specifications, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate across multiple teams.
