Position Summary

A Japanese entertainment company is seeking a Japanese bilingual Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will support the Accounting Manager in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. They will also oversee internal controls to minimize risk.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


• Manage the organization's cash flow, forecast cash needs, and optimize cash balances.


• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.


• Establish and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.


• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Over 6 years of experience in progressively responsible accounting roles, with some supervisory or leadership experience.


• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant financial regulations.


• Business-level speaking and writing skills in Japanese.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Additional Details

• Base Salary: USD 80,000 - 100,000 (DOE)
