Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will focus on daily accounting functions, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and assist with payroll processing. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, is comfortable with spreadsheets and accounting software, and has some hands-on experience supporting payroll. This role is fully onsite. Salary $65-80k/yr.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries for recurring and adjusting transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with processing payroll, ensuring accuracy of employee data and deductions
Requirements:
- 3+ years related work experience
- Payroll experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
