Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for withholding, franchise, and sales taxes across various jurisdictions.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax filings (income tax, sales tax, and other regulatory forms).
• Work with stakeholders to gather necessary information for filings.
• Stay current on tax laws and regulations, ensuring credits, deductions, and exemptions are applied appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records and tracking of filing statuses.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities to resolve tax-related issues or disputes.
• Assist in audits by preparing documentation and supporting communication with tax authorities.
• Provide clear communication regarding tax requirements, updates, and inquiries.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or public accounting.
• Experience with tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex financial data.
