Atlantic Group - New York is hiring: Senior Accountant in New York

The Atlantic Group has partnered with a large venture capital firm in the Lower Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

Summary:

Seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, operational controls, and process improvements for our Management Company and subsidiaries. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities:

-Manage monthly/quarterly close, reconciliations, and US GAAP reporting

-Maintain journal entries, general ledger, and cash reporting

-Oversee AP workflows, invoice processing, and vendor payments

-Support treasury management and internal controls

-Help streamline finance operations and implement new technology

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)

-6–8+ years progressive accounting experience

-Strong US GAAP knowledge and technical accounting skills

-NetSuite required; Concur preferred

-Excellent communication, detail orientation, and deadline management
