CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our property management client in their search for a Staff Accountant in New York City, NY.
Our client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their finance team as an integral member of a growing property management company who manages a portfolio of about 130 properties throughout New York City. The full charge bookkeeper will be responsible for updating financial accounts and records.

This role will be fulltime on-site in the NYC office, Monday-Friday. Salary - $75K-95K.

The full charge bookkeeper will be responsible for updating financial accounts and records.
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Maintain Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger, verifying all records for accuracy through reconciliations and analysis
- Process all transactions for a large portfolio of properties
- Prepare financial reports
- DHCR annual filings
- Process payroll and property billbacks
- Liaison with outside accountant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 3 years' experience as a staff accountant
- Direct property management accounting experience mandatory
- Experience in Yardi Voyager 7S is highly preferred
- Management skills a plus
