Are you a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care? Join a reputable dental practice in Midtown Houston where your skills and professionalism will be valued every day.

Position Details:

• Location: Midtown Houston, TX

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

• Pay: Starting at $19/hour (commensurate with experience)

• Assignment Type: Temporary (with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional chairside assistance during dental procedures

• Prepare patients for exams and educate them on post-treatment care and oral hygiene

• Take and upload dental x-rays (as applicable by location)

• Set up treatment trays and maintain cleanliness and readiness of operatory and hygiene areas

• Sterilize instruments and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed

• Document patient treatment plans and procedure details accurately in EMR (EPIC)

• Assist with procedures such as suctioning, suture cutting, and retraction during surgical treatments

• Mix materials for impressions and fillings, pour and trim dental models, and fabricate custom trays

• Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
• Valid BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• 2 plus years' experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Spanish/English bilingual strongly preferred
