Position Overview

The (Part-Time) IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting across all CNS Companies divisions, including hardware, software, VOIP, network, and user support. This role ensures the ongoing functionality and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure and supports the onboarding of new employees with proper technology setup. This is an on-site position based in Lititz, PA, with flexible part-time scheduling.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Set up and maintain workstations, printers, and peripherals
• Set up and configure VOIP phone stations for new and existing employees
• Assist with employee onboarding/offboarding, including device and account setup
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, remote access, etc.)
• Monitor and update software, perform regular system maintenance and backups
• Maintain IT inventory and track equipment assignments
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate vendors or senior IT resources
• Promote cybersecurity best practices and assist with user education

Requirements:

Qualifications and Education

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Information Technology or related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of IT support experience (in-house or managed services)
• Experience with Windows OS, Office 365, printers, and basic networking
• Familiarity with VOIP systems and remote support tools
• Experience using IT ticketing systems (preferred)
