General Manager
The General Manager (GM) will oversee all aspects of hotel operations at Level Hotels & Furnished Suites in Los Angeles. This leader will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, achieving financial goals, and ensuring operational excellence across all departments. The GM will serve as the face of the property, maintaining brand standards while fostering a culture of service, innovation, and accountability. Additionally, the GM will be responsible for oversight of our extended stay suites in our hybrid properties throughout Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Long Beach. Provide strategic leadership and direction for all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, and Guest Services. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards aligned with Level's brand promise. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulatory requirements. Manage property performance metrics including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Financial & Business Performance
Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans in collaboration with corporate leadership. Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies. Oversee vendor contracts, capital expenditures, and property maintenance to maximize ROI. Guest Experience & Brand Standards
Foster a culture of exceptional service, ensuring every guest interaction reflects Level's standards of hospitality and professionalism. Proactively resolve guest concerns, monitor online reviews, and implement service enhancements. Oversee quality assurance programs to maintain a consistently high standard of service and accommodations. Team Development
Recruit, train, and mentor department heads and staff, promoting professional growth and engagement. Lead with accountability, creating a positive work environment and culture of teamwork. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training initiatives to support continuous improvement. Community & Stakeholder Relations
Represent the property in the local community, building relationships with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Collaborate with corporate leadership to align property initiatives with overall brand goals. What You Bring: Minimum 710 years of progressive hotel management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role at an mid-scale or extended-stay property. Proven track record in financial management, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams. Knowledge of property management systems (PMS), revenue management, and hotel technology platforms. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive Los Angeles hospitality market.
