Job Description: Conduct analyses and develop specifications for descriptive and complex statistics in studies using real-world data (RWD) for HEOR research questions; conduct analyses to inform parameters for economic models; collaborate with HEOR leads to select appropriate internal databases to address research questions; develop and QC tables, figures, and lists for protocols, reports, and manuscripts from RWE research conducted to assess the value of therapies using RWD (e.g., claims and EHR); QC programming for descriptive and complex studies in RWD; work with epidemiologists and HEOR scientists to generate study measures in RWD; assist in developing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) for descriptive and complex studies using RWD, including claims and EHR.
Responsibilities
Conduct analyses and develop specifications for descriptive and complex statistics in studies using real-world data (RWD) for HEOR research questions.
Conduct analyses to inform parameters for economic models.
Collaborate with HEOR leads to select appropriate internal databases to address research questions.
Develop and QC TFLs for protocols, reports, and manuscripts from RWE research conducted to assess the value of therapies using RWD (e.g., claims and EHR).
QC programming for descriptive and complex studies in RWD.
Work with epidemiologists and HEOR scientists to generate study measures in RWD.
Assist in developing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) for descriptive and complex studies using RWD, including claims and EHR.
Qualifications
7+ years of strong statistical programming (such as SAS) and analytical experience with a Master’s Degree in public health, epidemiology, health economics, or related discipline; or
5+ years of strong statistical programming (such as SAS) and analytical experience with a PharmD or PhD
1+ years of experience in oncology studies
Knowledge of real-world data and experience in observational research study design, execution, and communication
Experience in HEOR, medical affairs, managed markets, healthcare consulting or other pharmaceutical/biotech industry work or research
Strong track record of analysis of RWD
Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environment
Formal training in programming and demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis programs commonly used in life sciences (e.g., SAS, R, SQL)
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in public health, epidemiology, health economics, or related discipline
PharmD with fellowship in health economics or related discipline
2+ years of experience in CRO/consultation with client engagement responsibilities
Experience in developing programs for lines of therapy in oncology studies
