Senior Software Engineer What does a successful Senior Software Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will manage end-to-end life cycle and develop solutions for Fiserv's state-of-the-art enterprise dispute processing systems using Java full stack technologies. You will drive the organization forward with innovative design, ideas that improve our existing code and mentor a group of developers. What you will do:
Manage software development process from conception to deployment based on user requirements Maintain and upgrade software applications following deployment Oversee and guide offshore resources: analyze, write, build, and software deployment Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements Test and deploy programs and applications Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects What you will need to have:
6+ years of experience with SDLC in enterprise application development using Java Full Stack technologies: Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring framework, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, XML, XSLT, JSON, third-party libraries such as jQuery, and lightweight framework Vue.js 5+ years of experience with database technologies, including DB2 and Oracle 5+ years of experience with WebSphere Liberty / WebSphere Application Servers, Apache Web servers, Linux and PAAS product Docker Containers 3+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Platform and its ecosystem 3+ years of experience with Fortify, Web-Inspect and Sonatype source scanning 2+ years of experience with Rules Engine or rules-based application services 2+ years of experience in finance, banking, payments services and card processing Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience What would be great to have:
1+ year of experience with SonarQube and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks 1+ year of experience with C# / C++ and Python 1+ year of experience with document barcoding techniques 1+ year of experience in software development for document/imaging processing or using 3rd party software like Accusoft and Kofax Ascent Capture 1+ year of experience with transmissions technology like Sterling's (now IBM) Connect:Direct Important info about this role:
