Environmental Compliance Program Manager

to join our growing Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) consulting team. This is a high-impact role supporting one of EA’s largest regional clients across multiple project sites and states in the Pacific Northwest. Manage and drive environmental compliance initiatives from strategy to execution. Ensure program goals are met with a focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. Provide expert support on compliance topics such as: SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) Wastewater operations Serve as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships. Lead development of key documents including SPCC Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Discharge Monitoring Reports Mentor junior and mid-level staff in: Stormwater and industrial site inspections and sampling Waste management practices and documentation Compliance training delivery (SPCC, stormwater, waste, etc.) Regulatory audits, assessments, and corrective action plans Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Lead proposal development, budgeting, and scope preparation for RFPs and RFQs. Assist clients in achieving sustainability, climate resilience, and regulatory alignment goals. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental compliance and EHS roles. Extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations. Practical experience in field inspections, environmental sampling, and regulatory audits. Proven ability to develop and manage complex environmental programs. Strong project management skills, including multitasking across multiple client sites and deliverables. Demonstrated experience mentoring staff and building high-performing teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of successful client management. Successful experience with business development, proposal writing, and client expansion. Note: This position requires specific driving duties. Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen. Pay Range $135,000 - $175,000 USD The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary.
