After School Program Coordinators for the After School Program (PT) . This position will work from 2:15 - 5:30, Monday-Thursday (potentially Friday's).It is a 150 day calendar. We are very proud of our District and the teachers, administrators, and support staff that provides the best education possible for the children of our community. The Elementary programs (Chenowith Elementary, Dry Hollow Elementary & Colonel Wright Elementary) provide services to students after school until 5:00 or 5:30 on many student contact days.
Assignment times for coordinators will vary and will include prep - time for lessons.

Job Purpose Statement/s:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Qualifcations: Knowledge of basic teaching methods and procedures. Knowledge of instructional materials and their uses. Knowledge of effective student management techniques. Knowledge of current office practices and procedures. Ability to enjoy interaction with and effectively supervise students requiring use of both empathetic and disciplinarian approaches. Ability to instruct a wide variety of students in a number of different situations. Ability to operate basic office and audio-visual equipment. Ability to accurately perform alphabetizing, record-keeping and filing procedures. Ability to abide by confidentiality rights of students and parents. Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Ability to apply school district rules, regulations, policies and practices in a fair, consistent manner. Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience in working with children and/or young adolescents; ability to meet the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Essential Job Functions:
Assists with field trips and assemblies Helps with academic support for students Helps prepare snack and activities Assists in the maintenance of an attractive and clean learning environment Assists in data keeping as prescribed by site coordinator or Program Manager Assists in preparation of teaching aids and/or material Assists in implementing behavioral programs under direction of Assistant Supervisor and Program Director Maintains strict confidentiality. Does not relate any information to parents or other personnel outside the school environment. Meets frequently with Site supervisor for purposes of planning and delivery of instructional support. Attends all required meetings called by the Site Supervisor Functions as an integral member of program staff Must establish and maintain a positive working relationship with district personnel Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to e?ectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to students, parents, and patrons.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reading Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
