Overview As the Regional Workplace Events Lead, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing employee events for Atlassians across America while also supporting global event programs. This role partners closely with Workplace leaders, regional stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver high-impact experiences that foster connection, engagement, and belonging to Atlassian.

You will report to the Head of Workplace Programs, and your craft lead will be the Head of Workplace Events, both located in Sydney. Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: oversee design, planning, and execution of employee events across the North America region while ensuring global consistency of our programs. Strategic partnership: collaborate with site teams, Workplace Events team, and stakeholders to influence the direction of our event programs; collaborate with regional and global counterparts to identify needs, set priorities, and deliver engagement-driven programs. Communications & engagement: develop and execute communications plans for events, tailoring messaging for local audiences. Continuous improvement: identify risks and develop strategies for successful event outcomes; produce post-event retrospectives, analyze feedback, manage QBRs, and recommend improvements. Financial Management: manage regional events budget, including forecasting, vendor negotiation, procurement, budget preparation, and financial reporting to maximize ROI. Qualifications

10+ years of event production and management experience, including end-to-end delivery of in-person events with expertise in planning, financial management, marketing, and delivery. Strong financial acumen and ability to present data and recommendations to stakeholders. Experience leading teams and managing external vendors/partners. Excellent communication skills, with experience developing internal communications for diverse audiences. Strategic thinker and problem solver, able to identify trade-offs and deliver results within time and budget constraints. Established network of event production vendors & partners; event agency background preferred but not essential. Degree-level education preferred (not necessarily events specialized). Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to drive performance through collaborative program management and stakeholder engagement. Compensation Base pay ranges vary by geographic pay zones. Zone A: $135,000 - $176,250; Zone B: $121,500 - $158,625; Zone C: $112,500 - $146,875.
