As an endoscopy nurse, you’re involved in patient care before, during, and after procedures, providing education and specialized knowledge about gastrointestinal disorders and diagnostic procedures. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with on-call responsibilities. It’s a fast-paced environment where you manage multiple patients confidently and compassionately, especially if complications arise.

Your Responsibilities: - Lead patient care by prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating tasks - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members - Maintain a safe environment for all - Monitor and communicate with patients, families, and care team - Explain procedures, treatments, and medications - Follow infection control and environment of care standards - Ensure continuity of care and excellent patient experience - Consult with supervisors when needed - Educate patients and families using appropriate resources - Assist team members proactively
Minimum Requirements: - Current nursing license in Louisiana - BLS certification from the American Heart Association
