Pay Range:

Job Summary:
This position ensures that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the hotel are served on time and that all banquet rooms are presentable.
Job Duties
include the following :
Guest Services & Operations:
Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and/or Supervisor/Manager. Efficiently and properly perform all service standards. Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties. Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws. Must follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO's). Must be able to set tables to specifications, carry trays, and have excellent customer service experience. Prepare rooms and tables for breakfast, lunch or dinner and rooms are set (table, linen, silverware, glassware, food area) standards. Other duties may be assigned. Administrative & Communication:
Report to the Banquet Captain/Supervisor or Manager regarding any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment, rooms and/or maintenance. Communicates with any client needs to Banquet Captain, Supervisor/Manager. Follow up with guest requests/complaints Minimum Requirements:
Previous serving experience in a hotel setting such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt or another hotel brand. Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends, holidays and overnight shifts. Must have exceptional customer service skills. Ability to satisfactory communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Necessary Licenses/Certifications:
RBS Certification will be required prior to the start of employment. Must complete CA Food handlers Card training provided upon hire.

The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
