Solution Architect (Client Facing)- Remote US

Job Description Salary: Job Overview The GridX Solutions team is looking for a Solution Architect to lead the effective design and delivery of rate analytics software implementations to our energy sector clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software implementation, consulting, or project management, with experience in the energy space. They should be able to communicate ideas effectively across internal and external stakeholders. The Solution Architect will work within our Solutions organization, collaborating with Sales, Product, Delivery, Engineering teams, and clients on the design, delivery, and management of GridX SaaS implementations. They will serve as the primary resource for clients and internal stakeholders, providing expertise on our software's functionality, data requirements, and addressing implementation challenges. Roles & Responsibilities Develop extensive expertise in GridX products and establish credibility as a trusted advisor on software capabilities and implementation needs. Support the end-to-end software implementation process, from sales to delivery to operations. Contribute to process improvements to reduce timelines and enhance delivery quality. Assist in developing pricing, costing, and delivery schedules in collaboration with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams. Evaluate customer needs against GridX product offerings. Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor during client assessments, scope definition, and planning. Lead client workshops on data acquisition, mapping, and business requirements. Participate in workshops on tariffs, rate calculations, rate design, and analytics. Document deployment requirements, data mapping, integrations, and configurations. Support data integration roadmaps, including gap analysis and quality assurance. Coordinate product enhancement requests for specific implementations. Assist Delivery teams in translating client needs into effective configurations. Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure satisfaction and alignment. Ensure successful delivery of solutions that exceed client expectations. Required Qualifications Experience as a Solution Architect, Project Manager, or Software Implementation Consultant. Strong data and analytics background. Experience in utility or energy industries, especially rates, tariffs, billing, and distributed energy resources. Ability to build relationships and credibility with clients and technical teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Willingness to travel up to 10%. Preferred Qualifications Background in data science, analytics, or architecture. Knowledge of data integration, database design, and working with relational and non-relational databases. Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Google Cloud. Leadership skills and experience working in startups. Compensation Range from $125,000 to $165,000/year, depending on location, qualifications, and experience, plus benefits and perks.
