Warehouse Worker Part-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves dock labor, cleaning and sweeping, picking up the yard, and assisting with staging during slower periods. Responsibilities include performing dock labor tasks efficiently, cleaning and sweeping designated areas to maintain a tidy work environment, picking up and organizing the yard as needed, and assisting with staging and organizing materials during slow periods. Essential skills include experience in general labor, cleaning, and sweeping, the ability to stack materials properly, proficiency in operating a forklift and pallet jack, and experience with picking and organizing goods. Additional skills and qualifications preferred include one year of warehouse experience and experience with hand and power tools. This position offers a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn valuable skills such as forklift operation. We are committed to training and certifying our team members once they become internal employees. Our workplace is an older transportation facility with a truck bay containing 30 doors. The environment can be a bit dirty due to the agricultural products we handle. We have a small team that values keeping work light-hearted while ensuring all tasks are completed. The shift is Monday to Friday from 10am to 2:30/3pm. This is a contract to hire position based out of Ankeny, Iowa. The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
