Area Customer Service Coordinator San Diego, CA 92108 3 months (Temp to hire) Driving requires using a personal vehicle

Support multiple customer locations in Central / Downtown San Diego and in Northern San Diego (up to Carlsbad area). Services may include mail, shipping/receiving, copy center, reception, hospitality, and conference room setups. Someone with customer service experience and knowledge of the basics of Microsoft Office Suite (365), flexible with location changes and work hours (be able to work 8-hour shift from as early as 7am and as late as 6pm) at any of the sites in the entire San Diego area, adaptable to various working environments in different customer verticals (Legal, Healthcare, Insurance, Education, etc.). Must be proactive and absorb training effectively. Duties vary by site, and the temp must be able to work independently or with team members. There will be extensive standing, sitting and walking at some sites; must lift up to 50lbs. unassisted. Most sites validate parking, some sites around Downtown and Central San Diego, parking is not validated. Cost can vary depending on site from $10-36 per day (DT San Diego). Possible conversion after meeting required hours.

Responsibilities

Support daily operations and contracted services across assigned sites Assist with new account launches, expansions, and process improvements Fill in for onsite staff during absences, vacations, or high-volume periods Perform site inspections for service quality, safety, and procedural compliance Train and onboard new staff and share best practices Create/update site procedure guides; validate compliance regularly Engage customers, gather feedback, and escalate issues as needed Maintain accurate reporting and submit monthly expenses Independently complete various duties while adapting to changing environments Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Travel across sites, sometimes switching locations during the day Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred Minimum 12 months of related work experience Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (365) Reliable transportation; valid driver's license and insurance Willing to travel up to 50 miles; flexible with shift times (between 7AM-6PM) Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift/push heavy equipment (up to 400 lbs. with wheels) Comfortable working independently or with site teams in various industries Able to submit expense reports accurately and on time Business casual attire required Some sites do not offer parking validation (costs may vary)
