Busy Family of 5 on the UES Seeking a Kind, Experienced Housekeeper/Nanny for Immediate Hire
Position:
Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper/Nanny Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:45 am - 5:00 pm (with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends, as needed; must be flexible to travel, especially to the Hamptons in the summer) Salary:
$35-$40 per hour, depending on experience, negotiable for the right candidate Start Date:

A warm and welcoming family of five living on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an
experienced and proactive Housekeeper/Nanny
to join their household. The family includes three children: an 8-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old girl. The two older children are in school full-time, while the youngest attends school three mornings a week for two hours.
This is a long-term role, with the housekeeper/nanny becoming an important and trusted member of the family team. Children 8 years old (G), 5 years old (B), and 2 years old (G - primary care will be for her) Responsibilities Manage the
morning routine : preparing breakfast, getting the children dressed, and organizing school bags. Provide
primary care for the toddler , including attending classes, park outings, and playdates. While the toddler is at school or napping, handle
light housekeeping duties , including: Tidying children's rooms and play areas Children's laundry and making their beds Prepping healthy snacks and simple family meals, including lunches for the kids
Family also has an after-school childcare provider for the older children, but may need assistance supporting the older children
after school as needed , depending on family schedules. Cooking for the children - Kids are picky eaters, so the family would like someone comfortable enough in the kitchen to recognize when something isn't working and can pivot to something else to get the child back on track. Occasionally assist with evenings or weekends when required. Travel with the family, particularly during summers in the Hamptons. Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal housekeeper/nanny is: Instinctive and proactive , anticipating needs (refreshing water bottles, packing backpacks, preparing ahead for the next day). Engaging and nurturing , genuinely loves children, and creates age-appropriate activities. Intuitive and hard-working,
Someone who instinctively sees what needs to be done and does it, without being asked. Family would like someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for ways to help and be proactive Thoughtful and adaptable , tuned in to each child's personality and preferences (picky eaters vs. better eaters). Warm, communicative, and easy to be around , someone the whole family enjoys having at home. Knowledgeable about New York City , especially the UWS-familiar with parks, activities, and navigating with children. A
safe, confident driver
(preferred) to support family travel and driving in the Hamptons. Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience Strong references from recent long-term positions Legal to work in the United States Fluent in English with excellent communication skills Flexibility to travel, especially to the Hamptons in the summer Compensation & Benefits $35-$40/hour, depending on experience, negotiable for the right candidate 2 weeks paid time off Paid holidays A warm, respectful, and supportive work environment
