AUTOMOTIVE CASHIER

General clerical experience Must be detail-oriented Excellent customer interaction skills Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods Strong work ethic Punctual and reliable Willing to assist others as needed including escorting customers to their vehicle Professional appearance and personality Primary Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Engage with and assist customers with their requests. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, check, credit card, debit cards, or gift cards. Verify and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy. Provide receipts and documentation for all transactions and maintain organized records. Efficiently operate computer system to process payments, issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and other areas to present a welcoming environment for customers, including ensuring coffee and other items are stocked and ready for customers. Communicate company policies and procedures to customers, answer customer inquiries, assist with directing customers to appropriate departments as needed. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly. Adhere to dealership policies and procedures regarding cash handling, confidentiality, and customer service standards. Cross train with rental team for seamless customer experience. Scan customer repair orders to electronic storage. Assist with other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by management. Automotive Cashier Requirements

Must be able to work Monday - Thursday 2pm-10pm and rotating Friday & Saturday 8am-Close (6pm). Regular and reliable attendance. Previous experience in cash handling and customer service for a period of 12 months or longer. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions and maintaining records. Proficiency in using a point-of-sale (POS) system and basic computer, calculator, copier, scanner, and other standard office equipment skills. Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive team attitude. Consent to a background check and drug screening. Ability to sit or stand for the majority of working shift. Ability to escort customers to their vehicle as needed.
