Job Duties
This is a restricted position, which is solely funded by the Title V Material and Child Health Block Grant for a 1-year period ending September 30, 2026. The availability of funding is scheduled for review before the grant expiration date and periodically, thereafter. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of funds.
The Division of Child and Family Health (DCFH) is nested under the Office of Family Health Services (OFHS) and is responsible for administrating multiple maternal and child health funding streams and program implementation. DCFH is committed to protecting and promoting the health and well-being of Virginia women, infants, children, youth and families. Major DCFH funding streams include, but are not limited to, Maternal Child Health (MCH) Title V, Title X and Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) grants. DCFH administers over 75 programs and contracts across multiple statewide systems of services, including programs administered in local health districts, with community collaborators and coalitions, and partnerships with other state and national organizations. The DCFH is a very cohesive team and relies on each other to share best practices and ideas, assist in each other's work and provide positive and nurturing professional environment.
Minimum Qualifications
1. IT Skills should include high level of use of Teams, Excel, PP, use of SharePoint, OneDrive, etc. 2. Competency with taking meeting notes 3. Ability to train other employees 4. Ability to take processes and workflows and translate into step-by-step instructions 5. Demonstrated organizational skill and ability to assist in creating organized spaces for multiple teams Competent in data entry

1. Creativity preferred to assist in document and website design
