The Large Loss Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for the mitigation and reconstruction department. This role will provide direction and coordination of all field activities related to the technicians and trade partners, estimating the loss utilizing Xactimate software and managing the lifecycle of the job. Responsibilities: Conduct on-site inspections and generate ROM estimates to help clients and adjusters quickly understand scope and costs Manage multiple large loss projects across residential and commercial sectors with speed, quality, and financial accountability Build job files using Xactimate or T&M documentation methods, and revise estimates in real time as scope evolves Lead, train, and motivate field technicians, supervisors, and subcontractors Oversee daily coordination of mitigation and reconstruction activities; ensure all work is completed per scope and code Prepare and present change orders, work progress summaries, and updates to insurance carriers, adjusters, and property owners Maintain daily job documentation including photos, moisture readings, and progress notes; ensure proper usage of moisture mapping software Monitor profit margins and job costing throughout the project lifecycle Review job budgets, assign resources, and ensure labor/equipment use aligns with project goals Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, property managers, and adjusters, setting expectations and managing deliverables Maintain strong relationships with vendors, trade partners, and in-house teams Ensure compliance with health/safety protocols, licensing, and regulatory requirements Participate in after-hours emergency response rotation for high-priority claims Represent Zeus Restoration as a trusted partner in crisisable to lead confidently in chaotic and high-pressure environments Requirements: 3+ years of experience in water mitigation and 2+ years managing large loss or complex projects Experience preparing ROM estimates and T&M cost summaries Strong proficiency in Xactimate; T&M billing experience preferred IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) preferred Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and subcontractors through large and complex job sites Proven communication and conflict resolution skills with adjusters, property owners, and large teams Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while meeting margin goal Familiar with lien waivers, COIs, permitting, and inspection processes for large commercial projects Strong working knowledge of structural drying, microbial remediation, demolition, and reconstruction timelines Tech-savvy; comfortable working in a digital job management environment Valid drivers license and clean driving record Keywords:
