Yard Coordinator

Job Summary The
Yard Coordinator
is responsible for ensuring the yard is maintained to its highest possible level. This position is responsible for making sure the yard is clean, organized, maintains efficient traffic flow and inventory related tasks are tracked with complete accuracy. This position reports to the Service Manager and will provide support for all departments, incoming and outgoing customers/drivers and others as required.
Essential Functions Provide great customer support for all incoming and outgoing customers/drivers on the yard. Assist all inbound/outbound haul trucks, complete related paperwork, take pictures and fill out daily logs with no errors. (very important for inventory purposes) Work as traffic control and direct drivers on the yard to ensure good flow and faster service. Complete monthly equipment, attachment and whole goods audit and report findings to Sales Support Manager. Manage machine and attachment movement throughout the yard. Keep display area well organized with machines organized by type, model, and size. There should be no open spaces in the display area. Rinse and wipe down the interior of new machines for display. Ensure equipment, attachments and whole goods inventory is organized and placed in the correct area(s). Assist with stamping and marking all company owned attachments and whole goods inventory as requested by Sales Support Manager. Responsible for daily cleanliness, sweeping, and scraping yard for your designated area. Clean fuel/waste oil area to spec and keep it organized. Other duties as assigned. Follow best practices throughout the enterprise in an effort to direct constant yard control. Must utilize proper PPE as required at all times. Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to operate heavy machinery of all makes and sizes Must be organized and detail oriented Must be a team player and willing to take on new challenges Must be self-motivated and a self-starter Ability to work well with internal and external customers Must be able to accomplish all requirements with minimal supervision Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Working outdoors in various conditions Walking, stooping, bending and climbing on and off machines
