Lead OB Ultrasound Technologist

With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. Our highly trained Ultrasound technicians work with physicians to utilize high-resolution ultrasound imaging technology for a variety of exams, including comprehensive obstetrical monitoring. Our capacity to study fetal growth and mother-baby health, among other conditions, is one of the best in the state and includes the only facility that meets the stringent guidelines of the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine. As the Lead OB Ultrasound Technologist, you will help the Imaging Services department at Pali Momi provide the highest quality diagnostic services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will assist with daily operations of the department and perform routine and complex diagnostic procedures on patients. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and attention to quality control, the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people. Location: Pali Momi Medical Center Work Schedule: Day - 8 Hours Work Type: Full Time Regular FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining Exempt: No Req ID: 30349 Pay Range: 50.12 - 62.65 USD per hour Category: Imaging Minimum Qualifications: Formal training in ultrasound. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year clinical and/or OB sonography experience with a Maternal Fetal Medicine/High-risk Prenatal Practice.
