As a Senior Principle Electronic Systems Engineer, you will support electronic control system product development and sustainment activities within the Digital Controls organization. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership with both electronic systems and electrical design activities for development of aerospace electronic control systems. This role requires deep product and process experience with analog & digital circuit design and analysis, complex logic devices, and hardware / software integration. What You Will Do Solve design challenges and provide technical leadership as part of a cross functional team of engineers. Work on projects ranging from new product development, existing product sustainment, production support, and field investigations. Responsible to perform or provide technical leadership and mentoring in development program design activities including design concept, part selection, circuit schematics, circuit analysis and design reviews. Participate as a senior technical contributor for trade studies and throughout the proposal process. Lead development program proposal efforts for the Electronic Hardware Systems and Electrical Design team. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. Qualifications We Prefer Prior experience in electronic control system design for Flight Control Computers (FCCs), Electronic Engine Controls (EECs) or other similar Aerospace control computers. Prior experience in as a technical lead for technical proposals. Demonstrated broad-based technical competencies in electronic control design aspects such as digital controls systems and their external aircraft interfaces. Experience in electronic hardware systems activities including digital controls systems and their external aircraft interfaces. Bachelor's degree in electrical or systems engineering. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
