Their Mission, And Most Important Goal, Is To Work Individually With Each Patient To Provide Eye Health Care Tailored To Meet Their Specific Needs. They Accomplish This Goal Through The Use Of State-of-the-art Technology For The Early Detection Of Eye Problems As Well As The Most Up-to-date Technology In Eyeglasses And Contact Lenses. They Are Hoping To Add Another Full-time Optometrist To Their Ranks This Year To Facilitate Growth. You'll Be Able To Practice At The Fullest Extent Of Your License, As They Only Refer Out At The Point Of Surgery! Overview
Mon-Fri only Call requirement for your own patients only 10-12 comprehensives per day plus office visits Exam times: Kids: 20 mins, Adults: 30 mins, Geriatrics: 40+ mins Dedicated tech support per OD - full workup 2 lanes per OD Paper charting (working on implementing EHR) 3 locations: 2 in Wichita, 1 in Newton

Meibography Topography LLLT for dry eye Optos California Auto-florescence Non-contact tonometer FDT perimetry Visual field Specular microscopy Macular Pigment Optical Density OCT at main location
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive exams Specialty lens fittings Diagnose and co-manage ocular disease Dry eye treatment Optical and supplement sales Post-ops Work in all 3 locations (set, repetitive schedule)
Compensation and benefits:
Bay pay: $130,000 for new grads, $140,000-$160,000 for experienced ODs Bonus structure: 15% of net collections after production is met Sign-on bonus of $10k-$15k 100% paid health insurance for the employee Dental insurance CE: $1500 and 3 days off each year 40 hours PTO 80 hours vacation DEA license Malpractice insurance
Minimum requirements:
Doctor of Optometry degree (OD) License to practice in Kansas Team mentality Autonomous when needed
