System Administrator 4
to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. Our team designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, and more for federal, local, and commercial clients. Assist in developing system and functional requirements, and allocate them to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components. Coordinate resolution of action items from various design and program reviews requiring cross-discipline collaboration. Participate in interface definitions, design, and configuration changes throughout the system lifecycle. Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions. Establish and gain approval for requirements, designs, and interfaces, providing a common reference for developers. Define methods and criteria for verifying systems, subsystems, and work products against requirements. Develop system design solutions that meet requirements and functional analyses. Review program work breakdown structures, work packages, and schedules. Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, and testing of complex hardware/software components. Implement comprehensive SOA solutions and develop operational scenarios. Review and approve system engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Conduct quantitative analysis on system performance areas such as reliability and vulnerability. Coordinate system integration activities across teams, ensuring interface coverage and data management. Prepare timelines and manage change processes, assessing risks and stakeholder impacts. Manage and ensure the integrity of the system baseline over its lifecycle. Plan verification efforts early in the development process to ensure compliance. Support certification and accreditation processes and review JCIDS documents. Qualifications
Security Clearance:
ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph required. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and eligible for security clearance. HS Diploma + 12+ years, Associate's + 10+ years, Bachelor's + 7+ years, or Master's + 5+ years of relevant experience. Minimum 3 years of experience with physical security systems and IT solutions. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing time effectively. Proficiency in MS Office tools is a plus. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
