Jackson Demolition is hiring: CDL Truck Driver Wanted in Schenectady

Jackson Demolition Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable and efficient Class A CDL Truck Driver with Roll Off, Dump Trailer and Lowboy experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle


• Communicate with dispatch and other drivers as needed


• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip


• Check weather conditions and road reports before departure


• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean


• Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)


• Notify managers of any major maintenance or issues encountered


• Adhere to company rules and regulations


• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions


• Comply with DOT regulations


• Complete daily paperwork


• Make safety a priority at all times

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid CDL License required


• 2+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred


• Clean driving record with no moving violations


• Must be able to pass a DMV check


• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements


• Current DOT physical


• HAZMAT Endorsement desirable.


• Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles


• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented


• Route planning experience


• Have an innate sense of direction
