Construction Superintendent - Commercial Construction
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of industrial and manufacturing construction projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be based out of Richmond, VA, and will travel to job sites throughout the region and nationally as needed. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
- Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and within the allotted time schedule in an efficient manner to produce the expected profit.
- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to permit them to perform their work effectively and to integrate it with project schedules and progress.
Essential Skills
- Extensive construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on industrial or commercial projects.
- Ground up commercial or industrial experience required.
- Ability to travel nationwide.
- Construction management and supervision skills.
- Proficiency in subcontractor management.
- Osha 30 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Pre-cast or tilt-up construction experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with design-build projects.
Work Environment
This position requires onsite presence at construction sites. The role involves traveling to various job sites throughout the region and nationally as needed. The work environment is competitive and hardworking with a focus on high retention. There is a heavy bonus potential based on the profit of specific jobs.

This is a permanent position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
