Graphic Artist - Federal Strategic Cyber Program
Peraton is hiring an experienced Graphic Artist for the Federal Strategic Cyber Program. Location: Northern Virginia. Telework is available on a situational basis. Temporary work locations may be designated at other federal government sites within the National Capital Region.
Role: As a Graphic Artist supporting the Federal Strategic Cyber Program, you will lead the development and integration of compelling cybersecurity visuals that communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact. You'll collaborate across teams to create innovative content for print, web, and interactive platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Strategy & Execution
- Lead the creation and refinement of cybersecurity-related graphics across media platforms.
- Translate stakeholder concepts into engaging visual products that align with brand guidelines.
- Collaboration & Consultation
- Work closely with clients and project managers to define project scope, style, and objectives.
- Brainstorm with staff to develop creative solutions and multimedia content.
- Content Development
- Design unique print and digital materials using illustration, photography, animation, and layout techniques.
- Enhance web experiences through graphic elements and improved page design.
- Illustration & Infographics
- Create and oversee iconography, infographics, diagrams, and other illustrative assets.
- Project Management
- Independently manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and expectations are met.
- Advocate for design solutions and oversee the publishing of materials for national and international audiences.
Qualifications:
Required:- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience, or a Masters and 3 years. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree/education.
- Must either possess and maintain, or obtain prior to start date, one of the following professional certifications: CCNA Security, CEH, CISSP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, Project +
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience with and knowledge of the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign).
- Demonstrated competencies in preparing, publication and producing dissemination for leadership, management, and diverse user groups.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain a final Top-Secret security clearance.
- Experience preparing, producing, and supporting a cybersecurity product line.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing UI/UX design principles.
