Mechanic
Join our team as a Mechanic responsible for repairing and servicing tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans. You will maintain heavy equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery. Your role involves inspecting ground support vehicles and equipment, troubleshooting issues, scheduling periodic maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe repair shop.
Responsibilities
- Repair and service tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans.
- Maintain heavy equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery.
- Inspect ground support vehicles and equipment to determine repair needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with vehicles and machinery.
- Schedule periodic maintenance for ground support vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and safe repair shop.
- Track inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain repair logs for vehicles and equipment.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in automotive maintenance.
- Proficiency in engine repair and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools for vehicle and equipment repair.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read repair manuals for various vehicles and equipment.
- Strong mechanical repair skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous related experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work on vehicles for prolonged periods.
- Physical capability to access vehicles by kneeling or lying on back.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Work Environment

Pay and Shift
- $27-35/hr
- 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm
- 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am
Weekend Shift from Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday.
Must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday and be willing to work holidays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
