Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose equipment problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions independently to appropriately complete repairs.
• Interpret and utilize an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical, written, or oral form for performing repairs.
• Maintain a safety-first attitude.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with three (1) or more years in heavy & truck equipment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check; must maintain current driver’s license that meets requirements.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations to keep time and material records.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness; willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as required.
• Physical requirements: able to walk and stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift 50-100 pounds; climb ladders; vision abilities (with correction) including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• May require sitting for extended periods; willingness to travel and work away from home when required; willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Experience working with paving equipment is preferred.

Location: Tampa, FL. Compensation: $16.00-$18.00 per hour. Night shift as applicable.
