We\'re hiring a Mechanic for Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course!

Ideal candidates are analytical problem solvers and self-starters. They have extensive knowledge of small engine repair, including but not limited to equipment safety, inspection experience, and preventative maintenance. Additionally, this position will utilize technical hands-on skills such as setting heights, sharpening blades, welding materials, making cuts, and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on golf course equipment, engines, and related machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain records of maintenance and inventories.
• Use tools and techniques such as setting heights, sharpening blades, welding, making cuts, etc.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressing mechanics experience – preferably some golf course-specific experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organized, motivated, and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of gasoline, diesel and 2-cycle motors
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of grinding equipment and reel/bed knife grinding techniques

• Newer equipment fleet; majority of equipment is 5 years old or newer
• Candidate will provide their own tools

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
