We're hiring a
Preconstruction Manager
on behalf of a dynamic and growing commercial construction firm. This is your chance to step into a pivotal role where you'll shape major projects before they even break ground. You'll work directly with key decision-makers, contribute to business development, and help drive forward-thinking solutions on complex, impactful projects. If you have an architectural background, our client would love to see you as well!

Your work will shape and serve communities Key Responsibilities:
Lead preconstruction from concept through GMP, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to align goals and drive solutions Guide constructability reviews, site planning, bid strategies, and permitting processes Identify and mitigate risks while optimizing cost and schedule planning Support internal handoff to project delivery teams to ensure smooth execution Drive innovation in preconstruction tools, processes, and systems Partner with business development on pursuits, interviews, and strategic bids Who We're Looking For:
5+ years in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in preconstruction or estimating Strong command of drawings, specifications, and construction means & methods Proficiency in construction software like Procore, estimating tools, and MS Office Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Experience with design-build and negotiated project delivery preferred Architectural background is preferred as well. Don't have to come from a construction background. Just need to have a good understanding of the process Bonus if you bring: LEED knowledge, BIM/VDC familiarity, or a degree in Construction Mgmt, Engineering, or Architecture
