The Role
You'll become one of the most knowledgeable people on earth about AI Visibility through relentless curiosity and first-principles thinking about how LLMs discover, interpret, and surface information.
As trusted advisor to enterprise clients and strategic partner to our product team, you'll translate bleeding-edge research into frameworks that actually work. You'll mine platform data for insights others miss. You'll identify patterns in how AI systems prioritize content before those patterns become conventional wisdom.
What You'll Actually Do
Partner with Fortune 500 brands as their strategic guide through the AI discovery landscape Lead original research on LLM behavior, prompt patterns, and visibility mechanics Develop vertical-specific playbooks that become industry standard Transform customer edge cases into product features that matter Conduct deep competitive intelligence and gap analysis across AI search platforms Build frameworks for measuring what's never been measured before Bridge technical complexity and strategic clarity in every client interaction Experience We Value
A track record of building innovative search strategies (SEO/AEO/GEO), or otherwise living on the bleeding edge of search Deep fluency in how search has evolved-from PageRank to RAG Track record of being early and right about industry shifts Natural ability to see patterns in chaos and structure in noise Experience translating technical concepts into strategic advantage Comfort operating at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success

This is an on-site role in our Union Square office - working in-person with a team that moves fast and thinks deeply.
For this role, the expected base salary range is
$140,000 - $190,000 . Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
